What is an FSA or Cafeteria Plan?  (FSA) Flexible Spending Arrangements and Cafeteria Plans mean an Employer sponsored Employee Benefit plan under The Internal Revenue Code Section 125 and the Regulations. This plan allows employees to voluntarily reduce their payroll to pay for their out of pocket expenses for unreimbursed Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug/Medication and Vision expenses.  It also allows the employee to contribute towards a pre-tax account for Dependent Care expenses (limited to $5,000.00 per year).
